What: One of LA's premier dining spots. The garden patio is dominated by an old pepper tree, which provides just the right amount of shade for breakfasting starlets. Certain items have been on the menu since the 1940s, making them as untouchable the Oscar winners who have dined here over the years. There's a piano accompaniment during lunch and dinner and light jazz on the patio on summer nights.
